3700  Series – Fire Rate

 

• For fire-Rated Wood Or Hollow Steel Doors.
• Starwheel bolt achieves a new level of security. A hardened steel strike plate is mounted to the door jamb, with a unique nosequard on the bar that interlocks to prevent jamb spreading.
• Mounting is simple, with four through the door binder posts and four screws that are hidden from access.
Series 8700 LIFE-SAFETY
• For Wood Or Hollow Steel Doors.
Series 8800 LIFE-SAFETY
• For Aluminum strike Glass Doors.

Rotary top bolt engages a post-typeheader strike to deadlock the devive.
Hexagonal hardeded steel bolt into the floor is conically tipped for easy alignment.
All mounting screws are hidden. NO
unsightly straps or brackets common to
traditional device. Steel rods are housed
within metal runner, while top and bottom
bolt assemblies are shielded by cast
housings that are, in turn, hidden by
smoothly contoured covers.

For Wood or Hollow Steel Doors,
Series 8200 LIFE-SAFETY
For Aluminum Steel Glass Doors.

Assemblies are also concealed, encased in metal runners and covers to enchance sight lines.
Stile preparating is simple,consisting entriely of drilled holse. Ten binder posts secure the pushbar and the top/bottom housings while self tapping (in hollow steel) or wood screws secure the concealed mid-point rod guides for snapping on the vertical runners.
Exit Devices - Concealed Vertical Rods 3600 Series - FIRE-RATED • For Fire-Rated Wood or Hollow Steel Doors.
• Designed to fit standard gauge door skin and double as recommended by the Steel Door Institute.
• For doors with a thickness greater than 1-3/4” , a modified device is available if cylinder lock or entry trim from the outside is desired.
Series 8500 LIFE-SAFETY
• For Wood or Hollow Steel Doors.
Series 8600 LIFE-SAFETY
• For aluminum stile Glass Doors.
• Stile preparation is easy, requiring only drilled holes and one simple notch. NO
Thread-tapping or cutout shapes needed.
• Non-handed to fit either LHR or RHR doors. Factory modification available for doors with stile wall thicker or thinner than nominal 1/8” .
• For doors with overall thickness greater than 1-3/4” , specify if cylinder or entry trim actuation from outside is required.
• Specify Series 8500 for steel doors prepared to steel door insitute standard gauge door skin and double
• 8600 for metal stile glass doors.

Heavy-duty deadlocking latch mechanism is designed to fit standard door and jamb preparation.

Series 8300 LIFE-SAFETY

For Wood or Hollow Steel Doors.

Designed to fit standard nose and jamb preparation

All steel latch case has a while bronze bolt and deadlatching mechanism, with 5/8” throw.

Standard unit fits 1-3/4” thick doors. Special order for other thicknesses.

Series 8400 LIFE-SAFETY

For aluminum stile Glass Doors.

All steel latch case has a white bronze bolt and deadlatching mechanism, with 5/8” throw. Standard strike finished fits installations where 1-3/4” thick door closes flush with jamb. Special order for thicker, center hung doors with longer strike lip.
